Do you know a child who loves animals and would benefit from calm, hands-on experiences in a supportive farm setting?
Barnyard Buddies is a club where children can enjoy meaningful interactions with animals, explore the farm at their own pace and build confidence in a relaxed environment. Sessions are led by experienced, supportive staff.
Children take part in a range of activities including gentle animal handling, caring for animals, animal-themed crafts and sensory play. Activities are flexible and choice-led, with regular breaks built in to suit individual needs.
What to expect:
- Activities across the farm, gardens and barn
- Each group supported by dedicated care staff
Activities may include:
- Handling small animals such as guinea pigs, rabbits and reptiles
- Grooming and bathing animals
- Walking larger animals including sheep, goats and our pony
- Feeding animals and making enrichment activities
- Sensory play and animal-themed crafts
- Access to our aquatics sensory area
Important information:
- 12 spaces available
- Fully supported by our experienced care team and farm staff
- Children must wear suitable clothing for farm activities (old clothes, wellies or boots, waterproofs)
- All sessions are fully supervised, with child safety and animal welfare as a priority
