We’re excited to introduce our New Farmer Experience, a brand-new club running during half terms at Daisy Chain Farm.

Designed for neurodiverse young people aged 12–17, this experience is perfect for those who love animals and are interested in exploring a future career in animal care or agriculture.

Unlike our usual holiday clubs, this is a practical, job-focused experience. Participants will take part in real farm tasks, helping them build confidence, responsibility, and hands-on skills in a working farm environment.

What to expect:

  • Feeding and caring for animals
  • Animal handling (where appropriate)
  • Poo picking and cleaning
  • Haying up and general farm duties

This club runs for 2 hours per session and focuses on meaningful farm work rather than activity-led sessions.

Important information:

  • 12 spaces available
  • Fully supported by our experienced care team and farm staff
  • Participants must attend dressed appropriately for practical farm work (e.g. suitable footwear and clothing)

This is a fantastic opportunity for young people who enjoy being outdoors, working with animals, and learning what day-to-day life in animal care and agriculture can look like.
