Virtual Support Sessions – AC

As part of the Autism Central programme, Daisy Chain provides virtual support sessions to help support individuals and families.

Sessions are an opportunity for parents/carers of autistic and neurodivergent children to connect with each other and get advice from the Autism Central team.

This group is suitable for you if you have a child who is diagnosed / going through the diagnostic process / has been identified by a professional as having a need relating to: autism, ADHD, FASD, Sensory processing differences, anxiety and social and communication differences.

These online sessions are free and open to families living in the North East and Yorkshire. Autism Central offers families and carers of autistic people high-quality and easily accessible autism education, training, and support through peer educators, alongside a dedicated website. Peer educators are autistic people, and parents and carers of autistic people, who have been trained to support other families. These sessions are for parents and carers of neurodivergent children and young people who feel unable to join in on other sessions as they work in school or social care settings. If you are a professional wanting to explore further training please email aet.training@daisychainproject.co.uk

Please book a space for each individual session. A link to the session will be sent to you via email prior to it starting. You can access these sessions if you are a parent/carer/family member. You must book before 12pm the day before the session you'd like to attend to receive a link - any bookings received after this time may not be added to the register.
