Sibz group is designed for siblings of autistic and neurodivergent children and young people to learn more about autism and neurodiversity.
The sessions are structured to support sibling to learn effective ways to communicate and connect with their brother or sister. Through age-appropriate activities, discussions, and interactive exercises, siblings explore the unique strengths and challenges associated with autism. and address emotions they might experience themselves such as confusion, frustration, or pride—while offering tools to manage stress and foster positive family relationships. Most importantly, the sessions empower siblings with knowledge and confidence to build a stronger bond with their whole family unit.
Themes include: how is everyone different from each other; what is autism; how can you support your sibling

- Fortnightly on a Tuesday, beginning on 7th March

This club is registration of interest only. Please register your interest to clubs@daisychainproject.co.uk. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis, and a waiting list will be in operation once spaces are full.
This club is not designed for those who are diagnosed/undergoing diagnosis/have traits of autism or the other neurodiversities Daisy Chain provides support for. Other clubs and activities are available for those who fit our criteria (below). You must have a sibling who is autistic or neurodivergent (within our criteria) to attend this group.
Daisy Chain specialises in strategies and approaches that are compatible with: Autism, ADHD, FASD, Sensory processing differences, anxiety and social and communication differences. For a young person to attend they must be either diagnosed, on the pathway or have been identified by a professional as having a need relating to the listed neurodiversities.
